Remember Hisoka's family was revealed out of nowhere at the beginning of this fight? His last name is "Moreau" that comes from 19th century's french painter Gustave Moreau.
This is a popular theory in the Japanese Hunter X Hunter community. Maybe Togashi doesn't even know how he wants to end the fight, so he gonna go on another hiatus to avoid concluding it. Unless Togashi pulls a Beyond Netero thing and kills off Hisoka, then introduces his long lost son or members of his estranged family idek. He's not the sort of character whose death should feel overshadowed like that, given his off the wall personality (if that makes sense?). However, no other known characters care about Hisoka, so his death wouldn't make any sense or have impact- it'd just feel a little meaningless and underwelming with everything else that's going on in the story. They might chase him to the DC or something. I guess if Chrollo dies, then the troupe will likely chase and attempt to kill Hisoka- Machi said that much herself. If one of their deaths could impact the plot, then fair enough. Tbh though, I can't see either Chrollo or Hisoka dying at the moment, especially in a way (seemingly) so far removed from the main 'd just feel like a really cheap way to up the shock value or tie up lingering plot points. I'll be waiting on that Hisoka/Gon training arc. Imagine how hilarious it'd be if Chrollo stole Hisoka's nen abilities and kept him alive just so he could use 'em.then maybe Gon and Hisoka could relearn new abilities together lol.
Danchou is apparenty Togashi's fave and he hasn't gone on any Sensui or Itsuki-level tirades yet to justify his villainous role.Īnd killing off Hisoka so early would be a bad move, he's a fan favorite and has more to lend to the series. A picture of the target's face is necessary if he isn't present."Īh, that makes sense, I thought the target just had to provide the information.Īnd I doubt Hisoka let Chrollo hold on to the paper with his original fortune, let alone gave Chrollo an opening for a snapshot, so there goes that theory.
HXH MANGA HISOKA VS CHROLLO FULL
This was taken directly from : "The target must hand write his name (aliases and handles count), full date of birth, and blood type on the piece of paper on which she will write the poem. Regardless, if he still had the power there are conditions to meet to activate it. It's possible that Chrollo lost all previous abilities that were in his book. I don't see why Hisoka would eagerly jump into a pre-planned death match knowing that, unless he (or Togashi) forgot. Although for Nobunaga is was personal.Ĭan't Chrollo read Hisoka's future using Neon's ability? Assuming she wasn't killed off of course. The reason they sought to take down Kurapika after Uvo's death was because Kurapika was a threat to them. Sure, they tried to rescue Chrollo against his wishes but revenge for his death wouldn't benefit them. Some people I've talked to suggest that the Phantom Troupe may seek revenge but I disagree. It could give Togashi a reason to inject them into the Dark Continent. Different leadership may give the Phantom Troupe more screen time and a different purpose. The only interesting thing that could pop up from Hisoka's death is the introduction of a new character that is somehow linked to Hisoka, but that is doubtful.Ĭhrollo's death would lead to a new leader of the Phantom Troupe, likely Feiton since he was the interim leader.
Netero's death gave us the election arc, Pokkle's death helped the Chimera Ants learn nen, Kite's death pushed the story forward and gave Gon character development, etc.
The death of a popular/important character has to have meaning. Your last point is one I've made in several discussion already. In fact nothing will be effected by Hisoka's death (like who is going to avenge him? Gon? Also the consequences wouldn't be as interesting as the other 2 outcomes. He is the one who has to pick the fruit (Gon) once it's ripe (take it how ever you want -) ). Why can't Hisoka die? It just wouldn't make any sense to kill Hisoka right now. This fight is going one of the following ways: Now nothing is for sure but I am still pretty certain of one thing about this: Hisoka is not going to die(right now).
